Our Head Chef Dan Mayneord recently joined the team at The Old Chequers Inn and after their successsful Christmas and Winter menu they are relishing the opportunity to get stuck into all the produce the new year has to offer them. Both Dan and Luke are committed to turning the Old Chequers into a foodie's destination pub that follows a few simple beliefs. They believe that you the customer should receive the freshest local ingredients prepared in manor that is befitting of both the season and the environment in which you are dinning. In short they want to give you really simple, tasty, honest food. |

At The Old Chequers Inn we are passionate about the quality of our real ales and because of this we have been awarded with the CASK MARQUE certificate as a sign of af an excellant pint.

take pride in ensuring that our casks are carefully stillaged, tapped and regularly checked for taste and clarity to ensure they have fully conditioned before we fill your glass at the bar.
One of our greatest pleasures is to share the taste of some of the finest real ales in the country with our customers. With this in mind we will be stocking a selection of different ales over the coming months. Our blackboards list all the real ales we currently have available and those that are on the way. If you have any particular favourites you would like included, please talk to us and we will do our best to feature them
